The Haunted Palace is the astounding project of Michael Ramseur, whose obsession with the Danvers State Hospital has resulted in a wealth of paintings, reflections, and historic materials. Collected on this CD-Rom are hundreds of pages of documentation and artwork by Ramseur and other contributors. The digital book was edited by Helen Jensen who, like Ramseur, worked on this with great personal investment as a labor of love. It is a unique statement on the impact that this insane asylum has had on culture and community since its opening in 1878.
