Padded Cell

It hurts to look at sunlit trees and birds and clouds. But apparently not everyone understands this. Just when you thought you were protected from the outside world and yourself, you find that someone was foolish enough to provide an opening in your carpet-covered window. How considerate then, that in this particular cell, your porthole to the world has been covered up with plywood. Because what’s a little darkness when you thought that things could not get any worse?
